Il Karst Information Portal è una libreria digitale ad accesso libero creata nel 2006, con link ad articoli scientifici, esplorazioni, relazioni tecniche e valutazioni che riguardano gli ambienti carsici, nata per informare e promuovere la collaborazione tra studiosi.

La libreria raccoglie decine di articoli scientifici, relazioni, studi, esplorazioni che comprendono geologia, biodiversità, chimica, fisica del clima sotterraneo, la pressione antropica, i problemi legati ai sinkholes, i pipistrelli e il loro habitat, la White Nose Syndrome, l’archeologia e la paleontologia.
Le conoscenze nel campo scientifico sono di supporto anche per la valorizzazione economica e culturale degli ambienti carsici.
