Aims of RESCON03.
To promote the exchange of cave rescue skills between delegates.
To provide an environment where these skills are demonstrated
underground, if practical.
To provide facilities onsite for electronic or hardcopy duplication.
To produce a Proceedings of the conference.
To enjoy.
To make the journey to RESCON03 more attractive pre and post
conference caving camps will be arranged in the main caving areas.
COST.
Payment must be in £ Sterling, EUR or US $.
Conference fee should be paid in advance.

Caving hut and camping onsite at SWCC. £3.00 (4.50EUR) per person per
day
Camping at tourist campsite. £4.00 (6.50 EUR) per person per day
Caravan with electric hook up. £11.00 (17.0 EUR) per day
Bed and breakfast. £25-£45 (39-68 EUR) per person per day
Cost of Food.
All meals, 5 days. £45.0 (72 EUR) per person.

The conference site will offer all facilities and gives easy access to
one of the longest caves in the UK, Ogof Ffynnon Ddu.
Demonstrations will take place underground and cave rescue teams are
invited to bring equipment to demonstrate.
Carbide is not permitted in the caves of South Wales and electric
caving lights will be provided.
Program.
Saturday 19, Sunday 20 July Delegates arrive. Free
accommodation/camping at SWCC, Penwyllt.
Monday 21 July 1730 Official Opening of RESCON03 and welcoming of
delegates at Dan yr Ogof.
21-25 July 1730 Monday 21 July Official opening
Breakfast 0730-0830
Cave Rescue practical sessions 0930-1300 : 1400-1630
Lunch 1300-1400
Evening sessions for lecture/slide shows 1700-2000
Evening Meal 2000-2100
On-site Bar Trade Stands.
Sport caving sessions can be arranged from 1700.
There will be facilities for film and video projection, electronic and
photocopying on-site.
The underground sessions will depend upon what other teams want to
demonstrate.

Stretcher Hauling, Casualty packaging, Cave Diving, Communications,
Rescue Control, First Aid,
Rescue Training, Ropes, Very Tight passages, Very Big Passages, River
Passages.
The WBCRT will be demonstrating 4 way underground comms with the
HEYPHONE
For demonstrations which are not practical underground we have a
dis-used quarry on-site.
