The Departmental Committee of Speleology of the Doubs is pleased to announce that the Franc-Comtois Speleological Congress will take place in l’Isle-sur-le-Doubs, France on 7th, 8th and 9th June 2014.
This Franc-Comtois Speleological Congress 2014 has the theme: “The Speleological Inventories” which will give an opportunity to all to discuss what is being done in this field in general. This will also expose the work already done in the Doubs and to present the follow up after these 26 years of work, on the basis of the development and registration of all our explorations via a computer database, the BaseKarst.
This Congress will also have the privilege to host the General Assembly of the French Federation of Speleology.
But this Congress of the Doubs is also scientific, cultural and sporting, and has meetings with cavers from France, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany.
And no doubt there is sport with the opening of equipped caves for the occasion such as the Pourpevelle, the Crotot Cave… (There rest is a surprise, we are not going to unveil everything just like that!)
