Together with Tetide and Tetide the European Speleological Federation – Fédération Spéléologique Européenne , La Venta is organizing the 10th European Expedition Symposium, in Italy, on 1 November 2024.
The symposium, organized as part of the 16th eurospeleoforum Syphonia 2024, will offer an overview of multinational and multidisciplinary cooperation in the field of speleological expeditions.
The goal is to promote knowledge of the caves through exploration.
- There will also be a focus on preparing shipments with best practices.
- Local regulations and environmental issues will also be discussed, using the Code of Ethics for Cave Exploration, and Science in Foreign Countries as guidelines .
Individuals, clubs, organizations are invited to participate and share their expeditions.
The symposium will be a unique opportunity to present the most recent speleological expeditions, learn about the latest research results contributing to the growth of international speleology.
